Finally Mr.X has make an upgrade for the new v14. To use it, will be necessary upgrade also the recovery!!

os_1.66_cdx.zip: OS 1.66 cdx version (recovery 1.4 is needed)
os_recovery.zip: OS 1.66 + Recovery 1.4 , iso version (loadable in ps2 mode)
ReadDNA.zip: Little tool by Mr.X to read the DNAS ID from the disk (work only with O2)
o2_1.66.rar: Mr.X release with os,recovery,o2loader,docs, bins, elf,etc.

To install the new recovery:
- burn the iso
- play the disk like a ps2 game (memory card insert!)
- on the first menu press SQUARE (upload other applications)
- press again CROSS (select CDROM)
- press UP (copy flash.bin)
- press DOWN (copy recovery.app)
- turn off
- press L1 and enter in recovery mode (don't release L1 until the application start!!)
- wait some second and a new upgrade will start
- when the upgrade is finish, turn off again
- enter in recovery mode
- recovery from #slot 1
- reset and enjoy Wink

Read DNAS is a gift from Mr.X. With it is possible read the correct DNAS from the disks. It work only with O2!!

After a long time, finally the new OS 1.65 with some new things and bug fixes.
The new OS features on 1.65 are:

New menu for DVD Region Free. Now is possible to choose region 1 to 6 and region free (some films not work with the previous region free)
New engine to patch DVD DL to avoid problems with some games (not tested 100%, but now work the most DL with layer at 50%)
Now some games reported as not working (with and without HDLOADER), works perfectly (in HDLOADER some games need MODE 3 enabled). Tested:
Fixed problems with games on hdd + hdloader ( Enable MODE 3 on hdloader )
New engine for DNAS patch => More Compatibility
Minor bugs killed

A Mr.x's gift... new PS2LOGO

- implement the DNAS patch on it.

Remember to choose APPLICATION on PS2 LOGO in menu expert.

During the game load you can see the new O2 logo. If CROSS button is pressed, you can change the VIDEO MODE, LANGUAGE or
the DNA'S ID of a game (you can save this option to the Memory Card and the next time, this features works in automatic form)

DNA'S ID don't require DNA'S patch enabled from the OS. If you put a DNA'S ID 0 0 0 0 0, it is ignored and only other values different to this are used. PS2LOGO.BIN use one new feature in 1.65 OS to change the ID.

Yes, now you can safe your original disk and play with your personal backup of DVD9 and also ON-LINE!!
Also is possible a quick PAL60 video fix (for ntsc games), pressing LEFT on power up.
